These songs just would not tolerate regular recording circumstances, acted like spoilt brats and eluded capture whenever dragged into a proper studio.
With a new, shiny album on the way, I figured it's finally time that these delinquent compositions get released. Trying to polish them up is like correcting the logic in a dream. Love these kids exactly as they are, or not at all.
Of these versions, only "Cold Turkey" was recorded in any studio at all, at the splendid Estudio Cathedral, Buenos Aires. The rest were recorded in basements, back rooms and attics of friends.
Some of these kids are louder than others, like in any disparate but tight-woven group, and I recommend turning the volume up when you want to get closer to the softer ones.
Here they are, in all their devastating, obstinate glory... The Wayward Set

Thanks to the performers and the people whose houses have hosted this malarkey - Fabian, Eva, Kerstin, Sara, Meta, Ben, Cosmo, fleeting aquaintances.... thank you. And to the musicians that worked on recordings where the songs seemed to escape during the process, recordings that were ditched in favor of these cacophonic mixes - there are tons of new songs. Let's go
